Benedetto Communications Adds Three to Hospitality and Lifestyle Portfolio

BCI was retained by Ivy Hotel to provide media relations, community outreach, promotions and special event support for the property, located in the Gaslamp Quarter. The $90 million luxury urban resort, owned by San Diego-based Kelly Capital features a 159-room hotel, 185-seat Quarter Kitchen restaurant, the 17,000 square foot Eden rooftop bar, pool and sundeck, the four-level Envy nightclub and 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting and function space.

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina hired BCI to handle national public relations services in support of the $65 million renovation of the 17-story waterfront hotel scheduled for completion in the fall. Formerly known as Hyatt Islandia, the reinvented property will feature an eco-friendly luxury spa, a signature waterfront restaurant and poolside lounge, 430 redesigned guestrooms and suites, a health club overlooking the marina, a new pool deck with three swimming pools and multiple waterslides, and verdant landscaping.
